Sports

At The St. Vivekanand Sr. Sec. School sports are takenvery seriously. SVSSS hold early morning and after school coaching sessions forstudents in Athletics, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho. Inter-house competitionsin the various sports are held round the year, and help to hone their skills;the battle for supremacy has its climax on Sports Day.

The schools have representativeschool-teams in various categories which participate in inter-school, districtlevel and national level tournaments (grade 6 upwards for the latter two). Inrecent years our Kabaddi, basketball and Kho-Kho teams have participated inNational tournaments. Many of our students have been admitted to variouscolleges under the sports quota.
